Cover Reveal For Our Next Book, Legend of Monster Island

Emblazon, tweens

Tween the Weekends is a monthly feature hosted on Emblazon. This is an opportunity for writers and readers to promote tween literature, that age bracket squashed between middle grade and young adult.”

This month I’m excited to reveal the cover of our upcoming title, Legend of Monster Island, Book 3 in the Monster Moon Mystery series by BBH McChiller (Lynn Kelley and Kathryn Sant).

Legend of Monster Island, Monster Moon Mysteries, Book 3, BBH McChiller, Lynn Kelley Author, Mikey Brooks

Cover for Legend of Monster Island,
Book 3 in the Monster Moon Mystery series.
Illustrated by Mikey Brooks

AJ Zantony and friends, the Zombuddies, are sucked into sea monster lore when creepy sea creatures invade the toilets of Craggy Cove. Their search for answers lands them on a small deserted island off the coast where they become stranded when a light rain turns into a monster storm. The friends take refuge in a rocky cave, which turns out to be the lair of a very angry sea monster.

Target release date is Fall 2013. Look for Legend of Monster Island soon.

Kathy and I are so pleased with the work of Mikey Brooks, our awesome Monster Island illustrator. He not only captured the essence of the book, but he also designed this cover in a style that complements the covers of the first two books.

side by side

Here are all three covers. I think they’ll look great side-by-side on a shelf!
