Parenting Plights & Delights – Hairy Moments Animated

Parenting Plights and Delights

Last week’s Parenting Plights & Delights was about a hairy scare. Deja vu! Today’s post is a retelling of that same incident, only it’s much shorter and it’s animated! Yahoo!

I made my first PowToon’s animation. I hope you enjoy it.

I had planned to do a voice over, but when I recorded it, I sounded horrible with this cold I’ve been fighting, and actually, I realized it doesn’t need a voice over.

If you want to read the whole story with all the details in last week’s post, you can read it here.

Have you had any funny or yucky hair scares? We’d love to hair hear about it!

Do you have a parenting or grandparenting story you’d like to share? If you’re not a parent, memories from your own childhood count, too. Leave a comment or you can email me at contact@lynnkelleyauthor.com. (Names can be changed to protect the guilty!)

Very cute. I already told you my hair in the fan story. You don’t need to hear it again.

  2. How delightful! Was this hard to learn? I want to make one! Way to master the tech, Lynn!

  3. Love the cartoon. I don’t have any hair stories, although hair has always been a sore point for me. Some people can grow it like a weed. For some of us, we’re lucky to get an inch in a year. *sigh* Mom used to perm my hair when I was young, and I think that probably added to the growing problem. Perms. *shudders* 80’s perms… *double shudders*

    • Hi Crystal! Ah, how well I remember those perms! Your hair looks great. Mine seems to grow too fast, which is a bummer when I get a good cut and it grows out and I can’t do much with it. I manage to get in to a salon every five months, so I’d be fine with my hair growing slow! Now, a bad haircut and waiting a year for it to grow out would be a bummer! Thanks for stopping by!
